Talking about Sustainable Farming

Sustainable farming is all about taking a whole farm approach, using the best of modern techniques alongside tried and tested traditional methods. The LEAF model is called Integrated Farm Management (IFM) which is a site-specific farm business approach based on the IFM wheel consisting of nine sections, which together address the entire farm business. The teacher's notes explain each component part of the wheel and the linked video clips show your students how farmers across the UK are putting sustainable farming into practice.
